All the media people I have spoken with, including Scott, tell me that there is a wall of secrecy around the board's workings and what is going on with the foundation.  They can get no answers from anyone on the board or Director Lindaman.  FOUR YEARS and nothing has happened except an inept director and board, plus a gala for rich white people in Oct.

I am quite familiar with the Clark Estate because a client and close friend was the financial person there and lived in the managers home for decades until she died.  We visited the estate several times prior to her death. 

This was a gift to the people of our city by Ms. Clark and so far it has done nothing for them.  There is no good reason why the estate cannot be opened to the public for guided tours and refreshments served overlooking the ocean.  This would raise a ton of money, especially in summer months by charging a fee in the $15-20 range.  Look at Filoli!

The first thing that needs to be done is the firing of Helen Schneider's "consultant" (and former lover) Jeremy Lindaman, who's only qualification for the job was the fact that he was Helene's former lover!  He's been paid a ton of money and has done nothing to open this place up!  A new board has to be put in place as well.

Where has all the money that has been spent gone!

This is an ongoing train wreck!  The people of Santa Barbara deserve better!
